LUGO SECURES ANOTHER PRESTIGIOUS FURNITURE CONTRACT AT HILTON'S LATEST HOTEL AT MK DONS FOOTBALL STADIUM      

Lugo recently secured another prestigious contract to furnish 140 bedrooms and all public area furniture at the new Hilton Double Tree Hotel at MK Dons new state-of-the-art stadium.

Lugo worked closely with Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman and his management team to deliver furniture solutions that effectively multi-task between the specific requirements match days and guest stays.   

The contract involved several bespoke pieces and as a supplier to Hilton Hotels, Lugo ensured that all specifications met with Hilton's stringent brand standards.

Lugo were proud to be one of the key sponsors at the European Hotel Design Awards staged at the Heathrow Sofitel.

The venue was filled with some of the leading lights in the field of hotel design and architecture.

Lugo's Managing Director Lee Marvin presented PCP Architects with the award for Best Restaurant Design for their scheme at Carbon Hotel in Gent, Belgium.

LUGO ADDS TO ITS BEDROOM FURNITURE PORTFOLIO FOLLOWING 600 ROOMS FOR DE VERE

As Lugo's reputation spreads for delivering high quality hotel furniture at competitive prices, the company has marked a slight upturn in furniture sales during the year despite challenging trading conditions for the UK economy.

Indeed almost 3500 hotel bedrooms across the UK from Inverness to Kent have been furnished by Lugo including 600 stylish De Vere bedrooms.

The company's' business north of the border continues to flourish with successful projects in Inverness, Perth, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.
The Scottish market has produced some interesting opportunities for us and we will be seeking to further strengthen our service offer to professional hotel and restaurant specifiers in Scotland throughout next year.

LUGO'S PORTFOLIO FAVOURED THROUGHOUT THE 'NEW GENERATION' HOLIDAY INN AT WINCHESTER

Lugo have worked with Intercontinental Hotels Group, AWW Architects and Morgan Ashurst Plc for a stylish furniture scheme for a new-build Holiday Inn.

Lugo underwent an extensive tender exercise and fought off stiff competition to deliver a stunning selection of furniture for all 141 bedrooms and all bar, lounge restaurant and all meeting room furniture.   

LUGO'S KEENLY PRICED OFFER TRIUMPHS AT EXPRESS BY HOLIDAY INN KETTERING

Working in conjunction with project managers Pentangle Design and IHG franchisee Butterfly Hotels, Lugo put forward a very competitive offer to secure the furniture for the new-build Express at Kettering.

Lugo's installation team agreed a tight schedule with building contractor Bowmer and Kirkland and our own Installation Manager quickly became an extension of the B+K site team ensuring that everything was room placed on time and with minimal disturbance to other trades still working on site.

NEW MARRIOTT GATWICK OPENED BY J.W. MARRIOTT JNR IN PERSON

Lugo was proud to be an integral part of a successful installation for Marriott franchisee Kew Green Hotel's new-build at Gatwick airport.

Supplying 220 x rooms of loose furniture and all furniture to the public areas and syndicate rooms, Lugo worked in-step with principal contractors Kier Construction.

Working closely with Dexter Moren Architects, Lugo's furniture design team helped create a series of larger bespoke pieces in the bar and restaurant which complimented the other chairs and tables.  

LUGO FURNISHES THE NEW BUILD RAMADA HOTEL AT HEATHROW   

In association with DMA Architects in London, project managers Jones Lang LaSalle and principal contractors Ardmore Construction Plc, Lugo supplied all loose furniture to 200 bedrooms and all ground floor areas at the newest addition to the Jarvis Hotels portfolio.

This hotel was furnished as per the Ramada corporate brand identity and followed the refurbishment of some 2000 rooms across the Jarvis estate. Lugo has been delighted to be involved in the upgrading of the Jarvis estate since its outset back in 2005.
